Producer Resources

Whether you need help tackling a specific problem in your flock or making plans to take your operation to the next level, there are a number of valuable information resources available to sheep producers. The CSF put together a team of reviewers to scour the Internet and personal libraries to compile lists of available resources – books, factsheets, courses, websites and more – from around the world. They also categorized each resource by level of producer – from beginner to advanced. Simply click on one of the following categories to download a PDF listing of resources by format.

This compilation of resources is the result of the Master Shepherd's Course Development project. The CSF, through engagement and consultations with producers, provincial organizations, lenders, nutritionists, geneticists and government representatives, conducted a needs analysis of resources to help producers in strengthening their business and increasing production and profitability.
